Meet Congresswoman Barbara Lee as she visits South L.A. to inform her role as a member of the U.S. Congress on the issues and challenges impacting Black and Brown residents. Congresswoman Barbara Lee is the highest ranking African American woman appointed to Democratic Leadership, serving as Co-Chair of the Policy and Steering Committee. She also serves on the Budget Committee and the Appropriations Committee, which oversees all federal government spending.
