Los Angeles is having a citywide election on May 16th, where voters are being asked to approve a misleading initiative that will allow for police to get away with misconduct. Charter Amendment C is a direct attack on the people of this nation demanding comprehensive police reform, and will only roll back progress that residents have pushed for to ensure that black and brown communities are no longer victims of unchecked police misconduct.

Let the police union and local elected official where South LA stands by helping us "Get Out The Vote" on election day, Tuesday, May 16th, from 3pm-8pm, at Community Coalition. We will coordinate phone banking and canvassing efforts from our office (8101 S Vermont Avenue) to urge the community to turn out to the polls and vote NO on Measure C.
