We are hosting our second annual Altars & Stories event next Tuesday, October 30 from 6 PM - 8 PM at Community Coalition (8101 S Vermont Ave)!
Come celebrate the lives of those that have departed during an evening filled with music, food, altar building, and live storytelling.
We encourage participants to bring an ofrenda (offering), an object placed on altars to pay homage to individuals that have passed.
This event is open to the entire family. With the colorful altars we create, we will memorialize the resilience and stories of our people for generations to come.
